A Custom Fit seat cover is one that has been designed to fit the seat of the automobile precisely. The fit is so precise that it can only be compared to the original factoryt installed upholstery. Custom fit seat covers are created through automation process that integrates the computer aided designs as well as the latest manufacturing techniques and allows the patterns to be customised for the materials used in each pattern, thus ensuring perfect fit.

What is Friction in terms of vehicle upholstery?
Friction in terms of vehicle upholstery means chafing or rubbing together of a pair of materials like polyester, leather, fabric or similar things that result in heat generation. The simulated heat is usually responsible for surface deterioration of any of the materials.

What is Neoprene?
Neoprene is a multi-utility material used extensively in wet suits, electrical insulations, V-belts and noise-insulating pads. However, it is also a handy stuff for making seat covers for cars, SUVs, minivans, trucks and other modes of transportation.

What is Pelt?
Though commonly Pelt means any type of animal skin or hide, in the automobile upholstery trade, it stands for animal hair, wool or fur attached to it after due curing or tanning. Pelt is often used in vehicle seat cover making in place of genuine fur which far too expensive.

What is a Pink Slip?
Pink Slip is a slang that stands for automobile registration certificate, brought into play probably because of its color. Also refers to road race in which the winner grabs the loser’s vehicle and so the popular comment: Don’t lose your Pink Slip.

What is Polyester?
It is a water-resisting tough synthetic fiber that is extensively used in car seat cover making mostly because of its moisture resisting features. But the material is used extensively in other areas as well. Polyester is a highly popular fabric now.

What is a Semi-custom Fit Cover?  Though not as good as a Custom Fit cover, a Semi-custom Fit seat cover is much better than the Universal variety. These covers are random created to fit a variety of similar sized cars. However, a Semi-custom Fit cover should never be used in a vehicle that has Side Airbag Safety feature installed in it since it is sure to jeopardize the functioning of the crucial safety arrangement.
