Founded in the year 1986 at southern California by an Engineer who worked in the Aerospace Defense Industry, he applied his years of experience of working with modern equipment and technology into the automobile covering industry. And its results were fantastic. Coverking started a process of manufacturing automation where it took less time and cost to make the products. And the final product was also better. Because of all this, the consumer got a product that cost less and was better – he got better value for the money spent.

Before this, the industry was quite backward that depended on the manual process of cut and sew that was not only faulty but slow as well. The industry took note of the innovations brought on by Coverking. And the consumers started to favor Coverking’s products.

These technological changes infused new life into the industry and the competitors learned that there are viable alternatives to the cumbersome techniques used to produce automobile covers.

The computer guided technology also enabled Coverking to have absolute accuracy while designing and tailoring car seat covers. It made covers fit a model of the car perfectly.  Coverking also introduced an innovative system which produced dash board cover in a day’s time which took 30 days to make till then.
